Though i’m not an ardant fan of cricket,I was hooked up by my friends to keep hold of IPL3.Yes! It was really an engrossing experience.IPL is a good blend of sport and entertainment. Mathew hayden’s Mangoose magic against Delhi and Murali vijay’s technically brilliant 127 against Rajasthan royals created a lot of interest towards watching IPL. Youtube have telecasted IPL3 was the added advantage like us who don’t own TV and depending internet for everything! ;-D.

I was in Chennai at the CSK Vs MI finals.First half of the match was not so interesting since the CSK men set a decent  168 target.The chasing match was the real thrill one.CSK bowlers bowled and contained very well.Sachin was in the field,The required run rate was high.But sachin was playing.So no hope for CSK.Once he returned back to the pavilion,the tension builded in a big way.The match turned favour to CSK side.I was bit happy.But when pollard came and hit huge sixes,the whole crowd in DY patil stadium gone mad.The balls touched boundaries quite frequently. For one six,the ball grounded at Third floor of the stadium.I thought Dhoni’s dream gone.But Dhoni talked with mathew hayden and the bowler.Dhoni asked Hayden to stand in Mid-off which is a rare fielding spot.That idea really worked well.Pollard is OUT.Dhoni’s on field strategy worked BIG.The whole stadium was in shock.”Final”ly CSK won.There was firecrackers ignited everywhere in chennai nungambakkam area.The whole skyline of chennai was filled with fireflowers.Bliss.CSK was the underdogs.Lost the Final in the first IPL.This time team CSK justified their Name : Chennai Super Kings.

திரைக்கதையில் பல்வேறு sub-plots இருந்தாலும் எந்தவித குழப்பமும் இல்லாமல் பயணிப்பது இனிய ஆச்சர்யம்.புதுமுகம் மகேஷ் ஆச்சர்யப்படுத்துகிறார்.கனியாக நடித்திருக்கும் அஞ்சலியை பாராட்ட வார்த்தைகளே இல்லை.படம் முழுக்க திருநெல்வேலி தமிழ் விரவிக்கிடக்கிறது.ஜெயமோகனின் வசனங்கள் பார்வையாளனை பல இடங்களில் நேரடியாகத்தாக்குகின்றன.நான் படம் பார்த்த திருவான்மியூர் ஜெயந்தியில் முழுக்க தொழிலாளர் முகங்கள்.படம் ஓடிக்கொண்டிருந்த போது அவர்களை முகங்களை அவ்வப்போது கவனித்தேன்.சில இடங்களில் கொண்டாட்ட மனநிலையிலும்,சில காட்சிகளில் அடக்கமுடியாத கண்ணீருடனும் பார்த்துக்கொண்டிருந்தனர்.படம் எங்களுடன் நேரடியாக உரையாடிக்கொண்டிருந்தது. வசந்தபாலன் தன் முந்தைய படமான வெய்யிலில் அதிகமான Melodramaவை கலந்திருப்பார்.இந்தப்படத்தில் எல்லோரும் அவர்களின் இயல்புடனே இருக்கிறார்கள்.நான் மிகவும் ரசித்த விஷயம் இது.

படத்தின் கிளைக்கதைகள் தான் நான் இந்தப்படத்தை தூக்கி கொண்டாட ஒரே காரணம்.

• கதாநாயகனின் கூடவே இருக்கும் மாரிமுத்துவின் காதல்

• கடைக்குள் நடக்கும் காதலும்,அதன் பிறகு நடக்கும் துயரமும்

• தெருவில் போகும் ஊனமுற்றவர்,அவர் மனைவி,முஸ்லீம் பெரியவர் சார்ந்த கதை

• கனியின் தங்கை சம்பந்தப்பட்ட காட்சி

• கதாநாயகனின் தங்கை, கடைப்பைக்காக பின் தொடரும் ஒரு அற்புதமான குரும்படம்

இப்படி படம் முழுக்க கிளைக்கதைகள் நம்மை அசரடிக்கின்றன.யாரும் தொழில் முறை நடிகர்கள் இல்லை.ஆனால் நம்மால் அவர்களில் வாழ்க்கையை தரிசிக்க முடிகிறது.

இப்படிப்பட்ட படத்தின் தரத்தை குறைக்கும் இரண்டு விஷயங்கள் 1.பாடல்கள் 2.பின்னனி இசை.
சில பாடல்கள் கதையின் நம்பகத்தன்மையை,வேகத்தை குறைக்கின்றன. பின்னனி இசை நாலாந்தர மசாலா படத்தின் இசையைபோல் இருக்கிறது.இசை அனுபவமாககூட இருக்க வேண்டாம்,குறைந்த பட்சம் அந்த அற்புதமான நடிகர்களின் உணர்வுகளையாவது பிரதிபலித்து இருக்கலாம்.படம் முழுவதும் தொடரும் துயரங்கள் அயர்ச்சியை ஏற்படுத்துகின்றன.சில காட்சிகளில் செயற்கைத்தனம் மிகுந்து காணப்படுகிறது.

பொதுவாகவே மனித உரிமை என்பதற்கு இந்தியாவில் பலருக்கு அர்த்தம் தெரிவதில்லை.அடுத்தவனின் சொத்தை,உழைப்பை,ஆளுமையை கூச்சமே இல்லாமல் திருடுவது இயல்பாகி விட்டது.அதற்கு எதிரான குரல் ஒரு முனகலை போன்றே ஒலிக்கிறது.எப்போதும்,ஒரு படத்தை பற்றிய என் பார்வையை பதியும் முன்,இரண்டு மூன்று முறை அந்த படத்தை பார்ப்பது உண்டு.ஆனால் இந்த படத்தை முதல் முறை பார்த்ததுமே எனக்கு இரண்டாவது முறை பார்க்கும் தைரியம் இல்லை என்பதை உணர்ந்துகொண்டேன்.மையங்களை மட்டும் வெளிச்சம் போட்டு காட்டிக்கொண்டிருந்த தமிழ் சினிமா,விளிம்புகளையும் கவனிக்க ஆரம்பித்திருக்கிறது. அங்காடி தெரு மூலமாக எளிய மனிதர்களின் முகங்களும்,வாழ்க்கையும் திரையில் வியாபித்திருக்கின்றன அந்த வகையில் தமிழ் சினிமாவில் நடந்திருக்கும் மிகப்பெரிய Shift.

We took bus to Bhavani sagar via Kobi chetti palayam and Sathiyamangalam towns.We reached bhavani sagar town after 5hours long journey.We received by a Arul,who is residing in the camp,The camp has more than 5000houses.All the houses built by the government with black Asbestos sheets.There was tiny lane as treets.No proper toilets and roads and the place not well maintained as well.

We met Some familes there.Most of the families fled to india after 1983 black july riots in srilanka,A massacre executed by majotiry sinhalese in Colombo and Tamil majority areas.Some families fled and settled here recently within a year due to the final war between Srilankan Government and LTTE.Different peoples,Different stories.Most of them are living here for the past 20years.Many children born here and now studying in schools and colleges.From that camp around 10 students are studying Engineering courses.We were felt proud and appreciate them.I personaly felt happy.That happiness didnt last for long..

They started telling stories…

All mouths uniformly said for the every question, Nationality.Yeah ofcourse their nation is sri lanka.Now they cant even think of their country.For their survival men and women go to Stone quarries for work.They  get weekly Rs.500 wage for their 10hr work in a day.The man who we met said “Please see outside,you will see few hills are missing.We all have done that!”,Lots of pain in his words.I could feel, How pathetic it is being Homeless or Country less.

we took Royakkottai,Palakkod route to reach Dharmapuri.Its a pleasant route with less traffic.People who hav plan to visit [W:{Hogenakkal}], can use this route.After we crossed Royakkottai,Rain started.Stopped our vehicle Found a shelter in a brinjal wholesale market.Its a heavy rain.After few stops we reached his relative’s home before Dharmapuri.It was a nice village with farms.

When i entered the house,i found many innovative things there.Washbasin made with Plastic bucket.Wooden table legs connected with PVC pipe mounted with wheels.Modern type irrigation methods,Mechanical controls and Electrical sensors to switch on/off the motors,Home made Dish antenna to connect satellite television channels and i could found Speakers in middle of the field,later i got the clarified that plants grows healthy by listening music!!.I really surprised to see all these and i was very happy to hear that Organic farming is quite popular there.He cultivates Sugarcane,Turmeric,Coconut trees and other fruit trees.He farm Pigeons also.He is quite popular in their area and gave interviews to All India radio on Innovative farming.

Next day (Augest 15) early morning we drove to Rasipuram where saravanan’s hometown nearby.after 3hours drive we reached his place “Narasimman Kadu”.We reached at time before the village elementary school Flag hoisting ceremony start up.After the flag hoisting small kids started show their talents.Some said Rhymes,Some Sang nice folk songs,Some orate on Freedom struggle of India.From our Foundation(http://bavishya.ning.com) we gifted the uniforms to them.

After that i went his newly built home in between the agriculture fields with a hill backdrop.It was beautiful scenic location.I have taken rest in the whole day since i suffered from back pain.Same day evening we went to the nearby hills.”Palaniappar Temple” a murugan temple on the hills,after that we started walking into the jungle.We saw small group of people carrying things and walking behind us.After we started converse,we came to know that they are tribes living top of the Hills.They gave interesting informations to us.Peoples lives there dont die due to snake bites,They treat using herbals.Living in hills is easy for them rather living in valley.Whenever they come down to nearby town markets,they come by walk.Their stamina is unimaginable.I was not able to follow them.I felt uncomfortable.We both said bye to them and stopped near a small falls.There was less water.I drank it.Its tasty but nearby that there was plastic carrybags,beer bottles and other plastic wastes showed me how insensitive we are.Later i could see a lot of quotes written in white paint,  “Jesus saves us”,”Jesus is the only god” on the rocks.Who has witten that and what purpose? No comments.

I personally feel we are exploiting forests and animals and tribes too.Everypart of the forest has the footprint of ugly human’s modernisation ideas.I had all these toughts when i return back from the hills.We were arguing about Mr.Gandhi,Swami viveganandha and Manu dharma for some reasons.

Next day(Sunday) we started travel to Visit Bhavani sagar Refuee Camp locates neat TamilNadu-Karnakata Border.

Director François Truffaut, a magic name among series movie buffs,I become a huge fan of him after i watched his movie “400 Blows”.Truffaut was one of the French New wave filmmaker.Fewdays back i have seen his movie “Fahrenheit 451″.The story based on BOOKS.Protagonist Montag is working in Fire station.His job is to burn Books.They go places whenever they sniff there is books.They search it and take them out and burn them.Truffaut’s imagination makes this movie interesting to watch.

A lengthy scence in that film goes like this..

Montag is on the way to home after his work finished, An young lady walks with him and started asking questions,

Lady : Tell me,why do you burn books?

What?

Well, it’s a job like any other.Good work with lots of variety.Monday, we burn Miller; Tuesday,Tolstoy; Wednesday, Walt Whitman;Friday, Faulkner; and Saturday and Sunday, Schopenhauer and Sartre.”We burn them to ashes and then burn the ashes.”That’s our official motto.

Lady : You don’t like books then?

- Do you like the rain?
- Yes, I adore it.

Books are just so much… rubbish. They have no interest.

Lady : Then why do some people still read them although it’s so dangerous?

Precisely because it is forbidden.

Lady : Why is it forbidden?

Because it makes people unhappy.

Lady : Do you really believe that?

Oh, yes. Books disturb people.

They make them antisocial.

Lady : Do you think I’m antisocial?

Why do you ask?
